OverviewNights Residential Child Care Worker | Children's Residential Service | East LancashireSalary: £28,142 - £32,061 per annum (pro rata if part time). Full time (37 hours per week) and part-time positions available. Location: East Lancashire (covering homes based in Burnley, Accrington, Padiham, Rossendale, Hyndburn & Ribble Valley). Responsibilities Provide night-time care and supervision in childrens homes within the East Lancashire cluster. Engage with children in 1:1 work around feelings, emotions and behaviours; link with other professionals (social workers, schools, police, health workers) to ensure childrens needs are met. Ensure the home is secure at night and, should the children wake, provide a friendly, supportive presence to address issues. What we offer Enhanced pay rates for night and weekend work (subject to terms), including a 25% uplift for hours worked between 11pm and 8am (start time before 6am).
