Insurance Consulting and Technology (ICT) forms part of the Investment, Risk and Reinsurance (IRR) segment at Willis Towers Watson. ICT is primarily focused on the insurance industry providing consultancy to top global insurers in the Life & PC sector.As an advisor to more than three-quarters of the world’s major insurers, Willis Towers Watson’s Insurance Consulting and Technology business is the industry’s Foremost risk specialistin reserving, pricing, and financial modelling. Our software solutionsunderpin a variety of activities, ranging from asset-liability modelling, pricing, reserving to economic capital aggregation and allocation.
The Role
Key objectives of this role are to help achieving the wider ICT team in achieving its financial goals and in developing the ESG consulting business with focus on our insurance client base and in close collaboration with the other ICT specialism / pillars.
**The role**:
- Head sales engagements with clients and provide wider support for related client engagements including business development, tenders, and ongoing client requirements
- Manage solution design and delivery of climate risk and decarbonisation strategy projects, including managing other colleagues, to clients and/or investigating and refining climate risk assessments
- Ability to interpret climate risks and opportunities in how they should influence underwriting and investment strategies
- Undertake rigorous qualitative and quantitative analysis of insurance and financial services portfolios of assets, strategies, and policies
- Efficient synthesisof large datasets, and understanding of climate change, sustainability, and annual reports
- Produce high-quality materials such as numerical analysis, written documents, and presentations to short deadlines.
- Support the client managers in helping to develop, maintain, coordinate, and facilitate strong relationships and good communication with business partners, clients, and team members.
- Interact with policymakers, private sector participants and other stakeholders on a regular basis to conduct joint analysis, communicate research findings effectively, and/or to ensure analysis undertaken is policy relevant.

- Developing a profile within UK, European or global initiatives, working to support the delivery of commercially important work streams, including exposure management to add value in critical business decisions.
- Recognising the importance ofcapital, working with others to prioritise this appropriately and proactively identifying innovation opportunities.
- To enhance current climate change propositions leveraging Willis Towers Watson’s toolset and broader intellectual property and resources.
- Manage or contribute to the development of the company’s intellectual capital including plans for taking this to market.
**Financial and business development**:
- Meet goals for billable hours, sales revenue and intellectual capital development.
- Develop and present proposals to potential clients, demonstrating the value of the company’s offerings.
- Use contacts within current network to obtain introductions to new contacts; work to develop supporters for company’s products and services.
**People**:
- Leveraging knowledge through training, development and mentoring of other colleagues.
- Collaborating with a wide variety of people within the organisation in order to ensure best solutions to client needs, including with Capital, Reserving and Pricing colleagues from our EMEA, Asia Pacific, and US offices.
- Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels.
- Manage teams of junior associates to effectively deliver client projects on time and on budget.
