On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for an Operational Risk and Controls officer for a **6 Month**contract based in London**.** **Purpose of the Role**: **Within Global Markets (GM), the Operational Risk and Controls office role is to cover Operational Risk and Permanent Control for a defined GM scope - Prime Solutions & Financing ("PS&F").** **PS&F includes the business areas: Cross Asset Prime Services, Derivatives Execution and Clearing, Financing and Collateral Transformation, Cash Equities** **As an Operational Risk and Controls Officer you will be responsible for**: Acting a point of contact for a defined GM scope - Investigating incidents and defining remediation actions with all stakeholders - Following up on incidents until fully approved in Risk360 in line with the new group policy and interacting with other OPC stakeholders such as Operations and IT when required. - Following up on all type of recommendations (IG, Regulatory, Compliance or external auditors) - Conducting annual RCSA - Following up on issues reported by FO via ORUS FO - Participating to remediation plans to improve the control framework or driving the remediation plan to assist the FO - Setting up or contributing to the governance related to Op. Risk, Permanent Control and Validation process - Engaging with internal or external stakeholders from all regions when required - Contributing to all internal reporting produced by GM OPC for EMEA - Strong understanding and working knowledge of Global Markets - Experience working within the First Line of Defence and advising on risk - Strong stakeholder management skills - Results-oriented - Risk Management throughout career - Strong Analytical Skills - Strong Organisation Skills - Client Focused - Ability to Report back to the business on any risks - Strong Teamwork capabilities - Demonstrate pro activity, transparency and accountability for identifying and managing conduct risks - Act, behave appropriately and comply with the general ethical standards expected by BNP Paribas Group and relevant regulatory authorities. - Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory, Code of Conduct's and Group's internal compliance requirements as well as Code of Conduct including, especially, Financial Security and International Financial Sanctions, Know Your Customer due diligence, ClientInterest Protection, Market Integrity, Professional Ethics and Respect for colleagues - **This client will only accept workers operating via an Umbrella or PAYE engagement model.**_ AMS, a Recruitment Process Outsourcing Company, may in the delivery of some of its services be deemed to operate as an Employment Agency or an Employment Business
