This London based role plays a critical role in Business Enablement activities across Global Merchant Services (GMS) UK and American Express Payment Services Limited (AEPSL) operations. This role is part of a high profile, dynamic and business critical team focused on ensuring that GMS UK creates and maintains strong levels of compliance and continues to adapt to an evolving regulatory landscape, essential to the ongoing success of the UK business. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting Business Enablement Managers with data analytics, creating and managing dashboards and reporting across business enablement projects including Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Operational Resilience, Consumer Duty & ESG. You will play a key role in supporting the GMS UK Business to deliver compliance projects & track the success of regulatory initiatives. Key Responsibilities Own the Consumer Duty Dashboard and lead monthly reporting across the four areas - Product & Service, Price & Value, Customer Understanding & Customer Support Support the uplift of key Dashboards measuring Important Business Services for AEPSL and providing guidance to Stakeholders Lead data reporting for all segments of GMS including Acute Remediation, Know Your Customer Refresh and special projects Report on trends & insights to Director & VP owners Run complex data analysis of large datasets and qualitative analysis of individual elements within projects Own data elements of annual regulatory reporting across Consumer Duty, Operational Resilience, AML, ESG and any other compliance projects as required Reporting and presenting on key business metrics at senior leadership forums & committees Minimum Qualifications Advanced knowledge of Excel (VBA & Power Pivot advantageous) Proficiency in data analytics languages (SQL) is a must for data transformation and analysis. Strong written and verbal communication skills Meticulous and detail‑orientated approach to data reporting and analytics Confident manipulating and interpreting large data sets Confident translating data sets & interpreting key messages through PowerPoint presentations Understanding of merchant business and merchant hierarchies is a plus Experience of working in a regulated environment Non-considerations for sponsorship: Employment eligibility to work with American Express in theUKis required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.
