Reporting to the Group Head of ERM with day to day guidance from Senior Risk Analyst and Risk Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Group Risk function through the maintenance of risk frameworks, data analysis, governance processes, and training initiatives. Key Responsibilities Support the maintenance and enhancement of the Group’s risk and control framework. Assist in identifying and documenting risks and controls across business units. Maintain and update risk registers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of data. Help facilitate Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs) and support risk deep dives through data gathering and coordination. Contribute to the investigation of risk events and assist in tracking remediation actions. Analyse risk data to support trend identification and management insights. Administer and maintain the Group’s GRC system (Decision Focus), including user support, data quality checks, and configuration updates. Support governance processes including SharePoint site management, document control, and versioning for risk-related materials. Assist in the development and delivery of risk training and awareness sessions across the business. Help design and maintain reporting templates and dashboards to support consistent and efficient risk reporting. Participate in horizon scanning and emerging risk assessments. Support the development and monitoring of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) aligned to risk appetite. Skills Foundational experience in a second line risk function, ideally within the Lloyd’s / London Insurance Market. Basic understanding of risk frameworks and regulatory expectations in the insurance sector. Strong analytical skills and ability to present findings clearly. Exposure to GRC systems (e.g., Decision Focus) and SharePoint governance is advantageous. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (e.g., PivotTables, formulas). Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude. Team-oriented mindset, collaboration skills and commitment to continuous learning.
