Restaurant & Deli Supervisor

Hours: Full time

We are looking for full time Supervisors to join our team at our new cafe bar and soon to open Deli in Caernarfon.

You must be confident, energetic, enthusiastic, well presented and have great communication skills. As Restaurant Supervisor you will be responsible for ensuring the team provide polite and efficient service at all times. You will maintain contact with customers and be responsible for dealing with queries or complaints that occur on your shift. You will be responsible for the restaurant and dining experience in the Restaurant Manager’s absence.

**Requirements**:

- As a restaurant supervisor your duties will be:

- To lead the team on each shift and ensure company standards are maintained;
- To host the dining experience, greeting and courtesy checking all customers regularly;
- To be familiar with the menu to the extent that you can explain how menu items are prepared and what ingredients and cooking methods are used;
- Supervise the restaurant to meet and exceed standards in food quality, safety, and cleanliness;
- To serve food and beverages to customers;
- To quickly take action to correct any front of house problems;
- To work closely with other team members to ensure excellent customer service is provided;
- To abide by all rules and regulations regarding licensing, health and safety and food hygiene;
- To prepare checks and bills in a way that minimises profit loss;
- Follow the Restaurant policies and procedures, including those for cash handing and safety/security;
- Ensure service areas are stocked with all supplies;
- To always be aware of customer experience, waiting times etc, and work with other staff members to ensure no problems develop;
- To demonstrate good leadership and motivational skills

**Skills**

You will need to have:

- Previous experience in a front of house catering role;
- All relevant food hygiene and health and safety qualifications;
- Excellent and proven customer service skills
- Welsh language preferred

Pay: £12.00-£13.00 per hour
