The team is dedicated to deliver a high quality service that focuses on supporting individuals to achieve goals. The aim is improve he lives and support independence for those living with a mental illness. The team will engage with other local providers to ensure a clear and seamless pathway for those that require support from multiple providers.
The team includes the service manager who will be responsible for the oversight of the service and wellbeing of staff. Inclusion coaches will work with individuals to support achieving goals in the most efficient and supportive way using our unique community framework support plan.
Digital tec officer will support our digital offer including Clic and social media sites. We have a dedicated co-production facilitator to support co-production through all of our development also we will have volunteer and peer support officer will support development and training needs for anyone that wishes to become a peer or volunteer with us at rethink mental illness.

**What Do I Achieve**:
- Identify and manage Peer facilitators and volunteers, matching them to roles, providing training, 1:1 support and supervision.
- I work closely with the Service Manager and team of recovery coaches to map needs, priorities and co-ordinate timescales for management of induction of new Peers & volunteers.
- I devise a program of events and activities tailored to promoting Peer network including succession planning to ensure a sustainable approach to our Group Development & Network offer.
- I enable the locality based recovery coaches to grow peer support that provide safe spaces for people to meet in their local community.
- I identify support needs or adjustments that will enable people with lived experience to become peer facilitators.
- I ensure peers & volunteer registration requirements are completed e.g. DBS checks, agreements and that confidentiality guidelines are understood.
- I develop relationships with local volunteer bureau and networks to promote our volunteering and groups programme.
- I work collaboratively with other with external volunteer organizations
- I ensure appropriate administration processes are in place and up to date to track, engage and communicate with our peers & volunteers.
- I share learning, skills and expertise across our service.
- I regularly evaluate our groups, obtain participant feedback and success stories.
- I collect information and produce statistical and written reports on our non-statutory activities.
**Who I am**:
- I have the essentials covered:
- I have a good standard of secondary education with ability to write clear and concise English.
- I have experience co-ordinating all aspects of the volunteer journey including recruiting volunteers through a range of channels and supporting volunteers to deliver their roles successfully.
- Successful track record of effective working alongside Peers & volunteers including use of supervision, coaching techniques.
- Experience of facilitating groups and delivering training to groups or individuals.
- An understanding of engagement strategies with ability to initiate and develop links with difficult to reach communities.
