Mayflower with its two venues, Mayflower Theatre and Mayflower Studios is great at showcasing and reporting on all the shows and events that are presented on our stages. This new role focusses on telling Mayflower’s impact story and purpose to support our charitable aims and objectives.
We are looking for a skilled videographer to lead on crafting compelling video content to promote Mayflower’s purpose across the venues communication channels. You will be responsible for producing content which engages stakeholders, and the wider community.
Location: Office based, Southampton

The role of the Digital Content Creator will be; to develop, film and edit a range of compelling videos/film content to support raising the profile of Mayflower’s charitable status, social, economic and environmental impact and supporting all in-house productions. Ensure video stories about the organisation are effectively shared across our channels, supporting bursary and charity awareness.
**DIGITAL CONTENT CREATOR**
**Your main responsibilities will be**:
- Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content showcasing our impact, participation, sustainability initiatives, and community partnerships.
- Produce a variety of formats, mini-documentaries, artist interviews, backstage clips, social content, reels and promotional trailers.
- Support the Impact Communications Manager to develop stories highlighting the impact of Mayflower on the wider community.
**Our ideal applicant will**:
- Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and camera equipment.
- Strong storytelling skills
- Have qualifications in Video production/editing
- Level 3 qualifications (A’ Level or equivalent)

Salary is: £26,000 per annum plus benefits.
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week which includes evenings and weekends.
