Job Req Number: 53788 Time Type: Full Time **Brief Overview** DSV Air & Sea Ltd, Feltham are looking for an operations assistant for our Night Export department. The person we are looking for must be self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high job quality. We are looking for a person who can add extra quality to our already highly skilled export team and come up with alternative solutions to challenges and problems while working under pressure. **Main purpose of Job**: - To maintain systems and processes and to provide good customer service. - Production & preparation of and all related requirements for Exports. - HMC control requirements to enable exports - Liaise with airlines, branches and Warehouse - Problem solving - that may affect performance i.e. prepare paperwork for customs and airlines or monitor inbound/outbound flights - Ensure shipment procedures are followed according to procedures - Maintain accurate data on company systems - Matching Export Records for export customs **Key Tasks**: - Producing Mawb’s - Producing Hawb’s - Producing CSD’s - Check lot x-ray log - Check Mucr/Ducrs match in ICE - Any consol Re-hashes - Cut/Close consols daily - To be able to service our blue-chip account - Make sure tie up’s are done - Monitor the gateway inbox, for snags, queries. - Check postflights - Split documentation in Cargowise - Housekeeping - Ensure that the company operates within all agreed operational procedures, and within statutory requirements including the provision and maintenance of a safe working environment **Skills** - MS Office Word and Excel - Good communicator - Team Player - Experience with Security "Regulated Agent" and cargowise would be preferred but not essential - Analytical skills an advantage **What we can offer you**: - A role in a successful, dynamic company - Be a part of a strong team of performance driven colleagues - Competitive salary - Great future career prospects for advancement - A professional working environment - Start date: ASAP Hours: Monday - Friday 16.00 - 00.30am DSV is one of the very best performing companies in the transport and logistics industry. 75,000 employees in more than 90 countries work passionately to deliver great customer experiences and high-quality services - as part of the operation or in a variety of supporting roles.
