**Summary**

We are seeking a Market Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is vital for enhancing customer experiences and driving sales through effective communication and product knowledge. The position is based in Mold North Wales, where you will contribute to our mission of delivering outstanding service to our valued customers.

**Responsibilities**
- Engage with customers to understand their gardening needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
- Assist in maintaining an organized and visually appealing sales floor.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale.
- Utilize upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and increase sales.
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and in-person with professionalism and courtesy.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the garden center.

**Requirements**:

- Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is a plus.
- Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
- A passion for gardening or horticulture is beneficial.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From £12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 12 per week
