As a Workshop Controller at Drive Motor Retail, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation of our service centre. You will be responsible for bringing the team together, scheduling workloads and driving your colleagues to achieve their best performance, resulting in exceptional service and customer satisfaction.

- Basic Salary £30,000 + Bonus (£40,000 OTE)
- Hours: 8:00am - 18:00pm - 1 Hour lunch break.
- 1 in 3 Saturdays - 8:00am - 12:00 Midday.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and allocate repair and maintenance work to the team
- Monitor work in progress and ensure timely completion, working towards departmental KPI’s that have been set.
- Motivate and encourage team members to achieve productivity and quality targets, this includes hitting the Workshop efficiency against budget.
- Liaise with customers to provide updates on their vehicle’s status
- Ensure the workshop adheres to safety and environmental guidelines.
- Assist with problem-solving and provide technical guidance when needed
- Maintain comprehensive records of work and inventory

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a Workshop Controller or similar role.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Strong organisational and scheduling abilities
- Ability to motivate and push team members to achieve exceptional results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

**Desirables**:

- Dealership background
- Previous or current background in managing a medium sized team.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
