**About the role**
Balfour Beatty have an exciting new opportunity for a** Long Term Planner** to join our Rail business contributing to successful completion of projects to customer requirements by, the effective development and implementation of all planning activities.
You will be working on projects across the Midlands and North West
**What you'll be doing**
- Develop and implement the Planning, scheduling and tracking of project activities through each stage of the core process, providing support and guidance as appropriate to the Team.
- Maintain the inter-relationship and integrity of all project plans, resource requirements and accurately check and monitor progress against plan.
- Manage the timely production of project pack documentation in line with contract specifications and Client Planning Standards.
- Produce Delivery Programmes (Clause 14) on behalf of team for all contracted works.
- Build/maintain effective working relationships with PM, Project teams, client and sub-contract planners.
- Review and agree the period possession plan (DPPP & CPPP) & Draft/Final WON’s with NWR & project teams.
- Develop & Maintain a high level work bank programme (Primavera) including Tendering and Delivery for the team to facilitate resource scheduling and diary management.
- Provide cost loading to project schedule.
**Who we're looking for**
- Degree Level Qualification in Project Management or Equivalent
- Previous experience with Network Rail planning tools including NROL and other NDS Systems.
- Previous experience using PTS
