**About the role**:
**Main Duties**:

- Primary focus is developing sales from new opportunities and growth of our existing database.
- Dealing with customer enquiries, providing product advise, information and recommendations to meet the customer’s needs.
- Offering added value to the customer base through fast response, accurate information and upselling where applicable.
- Support the external sales team with day-to-day business requirements, maintaining and growing targeted customer accounts.
- Generating and following up sales quotations, managing the customers’ expectations and building a strong rapport with customers.
- Engaging in proactive account management as directed by the business needs.
- Accurately processes quotes, offer technical advice and support to the customer in accordance with the company’s policies.
- Handles and expedites all customer Sales enquiries and orders as required.

The role will be office based & 37.5 hours per week. Monday-Thursday, 08:30 - 17:00 with one hour lunch and Fridays, 08:30 - 16:30 with a 30 minute lunch.

**Requirements**:

- Proven internal sales experience essential, ideally gained within the hose and fittings industry.
- Knowledge of the sales cycle / process for initiation to close.
- Experience of working in a fast passed office environment essential.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of customers whilst building strong relationships.
- Can demonstrate technical thinking, learning and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, persuasive and goal-oriented.
- Be able to work towards the six pillars of character.
