**About The Role**:
**Hours**:28 hours per week
**Location**:Flexible location to include home working (with travel to venues across Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire)
As Group Facilitator you will co-ordinate, organise and deliver the successful and safe provision of our group services. Group activities can inform, educate, support and provide structured activities for people affected by dementia. Our group services are delivered both face to face and virtually and include Dementia Cafes, Activity Groups and Singing for the Brain® Groups.
This is a community-based position, you will be expected to travel to different locations to deliver our groups. Facilitation of virtual groups and services administration will be done from home (with suitable Wi-Fi connection and Broadband).
**About you**
Do you want to make a difference to the lives of people affected by dementia? Our groups bring companionship, fun and laughter and this role is integral in making this happen.
You will have excellent communication and listening skills combined with exceptional organisation and facilitation skills. An understanding of the value of group activities for people whose lives are affected by dementia along with experience in a care or support environment will be essential. You will have experience of working with volunteers and liaising with statutory and voluntary agencies. It is expected you will be travelling to and transporting equipment and resources for the face-to-face groups, so it is imperative that you can travel independently across Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire. Public transport costs or private mileage paid at 45p per mile. Ability to use IT is essential, some of our groups are delivered over Zoom.
