Are you looking to develop your career as a children's Speech and Language Therapist, perhaps looking to develop your experience in school settings?

Are you looking to work as part of a supportive team in a flexible working environment?

You will be joining the Children’s Integrated Therapy (CIT) team at an exciting juncture as we implement a new service structure and therapy model. Our vacancies are in Oxford (City) and North East (Bicester / Kidlington) of the county, for enthusiastic, dynamic and highly motivated therapists to join our teams.

Working alongside experienced colleagues you would support band 5 and band 4 colleagues. The SLT team is made up of Band 5 and 6 Therapists, Technical Assistants, Apprentices, and both Specialist Team Leads and Specialist Clinical Leads (Band 7). We provide Speech and Language Therapy for children and young people aged 0 - 19 years across Oxfordshire in a range of settings. The Service delivery model is based on six Clinical Pathways and underpinned by the current evidence base.

You will have opportunities to work alongside other members of the CIT team - Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and CIT Assistant Practitioners, as well as collaborating with the wider MDT in Education, Health and Social Services. We also have close links with SLTs at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, where specialist services such as the Regional Cleft Palate and Cochlear Implant service are based.

You will have your own caseload to manage and prioritise, delivering timely assessment and intervention packages, contributing to the SEND process, engaging in clinical meetings and delivering training to staff and parents.
