**Specialism/Team**: Adults Acute Inpatient
**Job Type & Hours**: Locum ongoing contract
- Needs to be in-person / on site (i.e. not suitable for home working)
**Pay Rate**:£25 - £30 per hour (assignment rate)

**Requirements of the Speech and Language Therapist/SLT**:
- Degree or equivalent within Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC registration
- Recent post qualifying experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist
**Duties of the Speech and Language Therapist**:
- Will be providing a clinical service to adult, acute, inpatient wards -** Must be dysphagia competent**:
- The post holder will be an experienced Speech and Language Therapist working across acute inpatient wards at the John Radcliffe Hospital -This includes complex medicine, geratology, surgery, cardiac services, trauma and critical care
- The SLT will be an integral member of the inpatient Adult Speech and Language Therapy team and work closely within multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring patients receive person-centred and effective care
