The Community Grant Co-ordinator will be employed as part of the newly awarded contract for The South Yorkshire Early Years Neighbourhood Pilot (Bump Birth and Beyond) across South Yorkshire working in partnership with community organisations including Family Hubs and voluntary/community providers.

The Bump, Birth and Beyond Service offers support in specific neighbourhoods (Worsbrough, Eastwood and East Deane, Mexborough, Firth Park and Fir Vale) to ensure a joined-up approach to providing interventions at the earliest opportunity for pregnant women, birthing people and their families, making access easy and provided by trusted organisations across the designated areas. This project has 7 Peer Connectors in post who work accross the neighbourhoods offering one-to-one support and group work to families.

This post is predominately office based at Moorgate Rotherham, however there may be an element of travel across the neighbourhoods to meet with the voluntary and community organisations.

We are able to offer flexible working arrangements and the hours for this role are 17 hours a week in year 1 and 15 hours a week in year 2. Although funding is due to end in March 2026 we are constantly reviewing and discussing the work which could result in a proposal to extend work beyond that date.
