Are you a children’s social worker looking to work more directly in the care process with Foster Carers?

Aurora have an excellent opportunity for a passionate and child focused social worker to work closer with Foster Carers and children in care as a Supervising social worker for an 'outstanding’ fostering service based in the Wiltshire/Swindon region.

This outstanding fostering agency support families to care for Children and Young People who are looked after by Local Authorities. Their ethos is to remain small, friendly and responsive while focusing on a personalised, 'family-feeling’ approach to fostering.They believe success is measured by the outcomes for our children and young people and the support and celebration of our amazing foster families.

This position is suited to someone with experience within children’s services. Previous experience supervising and training foster carers is not necessary although it would be an advantage. They are focused on bringing in the right type of ethical socialworker that has a legitimate interest in the world of fostering.

You will be given full support and training within a stable and experienced friendly 'family feel’ team.

They offer a competitive salary up to £34,000 along with other incentives and benefits which can be discussed.

**To be eligible for the role you will be**:

- A qualified social worker with post qualified experience within children’s services
- Knowledgeable with Children in Care and Fostering
- Be a car driver for covering the North East Wiltshire/Swindon region
