JOB TITLE: Employment Solicitor

SALARY: Up to c£53,000 (£DOE)
THE ROLE:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a highly regarded and supportive organisation, they have a number of regional offices. This is an unmissable opportunity to enhance your career with an organisation that offer an interesting variety of work, you willbe handling a mixed caseload of complex contentious and non-contentious respondent employment matters with some exposure to some personal injury work. This role is particularly well suited to a talented Employment Solicitor who wants to take the next stepin their career, you will be tested on your ability to also deal with miscellaneous matters that may arise. Excellent team working skills are imperative to this role. A typical day will include undertaking representation, including advocacy for clients inthe tribunals and courts, providing advice on legal issues, responsible for the conduct of claims and litigation and to contribute to the preparation of a range of written documents/articles. This is an office-based role for 35 hours a week and boasts marketleading annual leave entitlement.
THE CANDIDATE:
The successful Employment Lawyer will be a qualified Solicitor with a current practicing and possess a minimum of two years PQE in Employment Law. Ideally, you will have some experience within Claimant Personal Injury, however this is not essential. Your expertisewill span both contentious and non-contentious matters and you will thrive in an advisory role. You may have gained previous experience from either a private practice or public sector background, and you will have ideally gained some experience of workingon union-related matters. The role is best suited to a natural leader with an interest in embedding and promoting a cohesive and supportive team environment.
