**Salary**: to £25k DOE + profit share paid quarterly
**Hours**: 8.30am-5pm Mon-Fri office based

Our client is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their award winning family run manufacturing business based in East Dorset. You do need your own transport to get to our client.
**This Accounts Assistant role will suit someone**:
- Has some accounts experience (min 18 months to 2 years)
- Isn't studying for an accountancy qualification - they are looking for someone to come in and stay with them
- Will have common sense
- Will be reliable and loyal
- Has good IT skills, including Excel
- Can deal with daily transactions, including posting of purchase ledger invoices
- Run daily sales invoices
As an experienced accounts assistant, you will be working in a small but friendly team.
The business environment is one of team work, enthusiasm and passion and providing customer service excellence.
It goes without saying that you will be a reliable and loyal employee who turns up to work on time daily. Emphasis is put on training and development of their internal teams. Within this role, you will have regular interactions with the Senior ManagementTeam and the MD/Owner who works on-site daily and who is still hands-on.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Bookkeeping
- Daily transactions, including posting of purchase ledger invoices
- Regular communication with suppliers
- Raising purchase orders
- Running daily sales invoices
- Archiving / scanning documents
- General office duties and administration
**Desirable qualifications and experience**:
- Previous bookkeeping experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience using accounting systems. Access Dimensions would be beneficial, but not an essential requirement
- Good time management
