Early Years Quality Support Officer

Are you experienced in providing high quality childcare and interested in training others to the same high standard?
I am recruiting for a Quality Support Officer for a childcare group with multiple settings, and this particular role is to cover their Yorkshire region which covers Leeds, Bradford, Harrogate and surrounding areas.
You will work in individual settings and closely with The Quality Support Manager and Operations team to ensure consistency and development of service and childcare within OFSTED and company standards.
**Main Role Responsibilities**:
- To work with Directors, Operations Team, managers and staff to assure consistently high quality provision of care within Nurseries
- To be proactive in the early diagnosis of potential quality issues, ensuring strategies for improvement are implemented and that their impact is reported
- To work with the Head of Safeguarding and Compliance to ensure any highlighted issues are supported within individual settings
- To work with the Quality Support Manger to develop quality assurance processes and work with nurseries to deliver these outcomes
- Assist and support all nurseries in delivery of high quality care to meet, exceed and improve OFSTED inspections
- Collect, analyse and provide reports on quality data if required for Quality Support Manager
- To champion the Group’s approach to the management of outcomes to evidence success and continuous improvement
- Keeping abreast of developments in early year’s education and their regulation, proposing best practice models and working with the Directors on initiatives that will improve outcomes for children.
- Providing constructive and supportive challenge to Nurseries and the Operations Team to help assure the highest standards of service
- Ensuring growth projects and workforce development are implemented in ways which are consistent with regulatory and legal compliance and highest service quality
- To demonstrate and promote collaborative, productive working relationships with colleagues throughout the group.
- To promote the highest standard of professional conduct through modelling outstanding practice, ensuring confidentiality, equality and respect to all staff.
- To develop appropriate forums which facilitate sharing, dissemination and adoption of best practice.
- To ensure quality development plans are clear, concise and in enough detail to structure developments and address areas for improvement.
- To advise, support and challenge Nursery Managers and practitioners to ensure all nurseries provide a safe physical, social and emotional environment.
- To participate in the development of outcomes monitoring tools which evidence the impact of our initiatives on the children in our care.
**Essential Skills**:
- Early years degree or relevant childcare qualification
- Experience of supporting Early Years setting in achieving high quality care provision
- Knowledge and understanding of quality improvement processes
- Knowledge and understanding of excellent practice in safeguarding and child protection
- Experience of relevant regulatory and inspection frameworks, accreditation & validation processes
- Highly motivated and ambitious to achieve demonstrable improvements in quality
- Interpersonal skills that will engage Nursery management and staff to work towards quality improvement goals
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the capability to work under pressure and deadlines
- Self-starter and results driven
- A commitment to excellence and continuous improvement
- Strong commitment to Safeguarding young children
