**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement individualised mentoring plans based on the specific needs of each mentee.
- Provide support in areas such as special education, early childhood education, and behaviour management.
- Facilitate engaging activities that promote learning and personal development.
- Assist with proofreading educational materials to ensure clarity and accuracy.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to update them on progress and address any concerns.
- Create a safe and inclusive environment for all children, encouraging participation in physical education and other activities.
- Monitor the progress of mentees, providing constructive feedback to help them achieve their goals.
- Collaborate with other educators and professionals to enhance the mentoring programme.

**Skills**
- Strong background in special education or early childhood education is essential.
- Proven experience in mentoring or working with children in a childcare setting.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with mentees and their families.
- Ability to manage behaviour effectively, fostering a positive atmosphere for learning.
- Experience in proofreading educational content for clarity and correctness.
- Knowledge of physical education principles is advantageous but not mandatory.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's growth and development through tailored mentorship strategies.

Pay: £23,321.00-£25,110.00 per year
