We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Head of Healthcare to join our team at HMP Leicester, a **category B** Prison located in**Leicester.**

HMP Leicester is a Category B Local remand prison for around 350 adult males. We are currently recruiting a Deputy Head of Healthcare to support the Head of Healthcare with the daily running of the healthcare team which consists of Mental Heath, Substance Misuse, Pharmacy, HCAs and Admin.

Monday - Friday

0800 - 1600

**Salary**

This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary up to £55,996**_ _**per annum FTE - depending on experience.

**What you'll be doing**:
As a Deputy Head of Healthcare, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Provide outstanding evidence based care to our patients by seeking out, listening to and acting on
feedback so that patient engagement is at the centre of service delivery.
- You will also provide day to day operational service delivery and data which has integrity, in a timely manner to meet
commissioner expectations.
- Deliver non-judgemental, compassionate care within the financial framework that is safe, high quality
and in line with CQC requirements. This will be achieved through adherence to policies and procedures and compliance with statutory responsibilities whilst driving excellence.

Qualifications required
- Degree or appropriate equivalent level of experience or clinical qualification

- Significant experience leading multi-disciplinary teams Ability to influence and deliver information to key partners and stakeholders

Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
