**Contract Type**: Part-Time (Flexible hours, including weekends and peak periods)

**Job Purpose**
The Front of House (FOH) Team Member at Dabrunch Café Ltd is responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, supporting smooth daily operations, and upholding our standards for hospitality, cleanliness, and efficiency. This role plays a key part in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring guests enjoy an exceptional Caribbean-inspired brunch experience.

**Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service & Guest Experience**
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit.
- Take orders accurately and input them into the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and ensure all items meet presentation standards.
- Assist guests with menu knowledge, including allergens and dietary requirements.
- Handle customer enquiries, feedback, or concerns professionally and escalate to management when needed.

**Front of House Operations**
- Set up the dining area before service, ensuring tables, condiments, cutlery, and stations are clean and fully stocked.
- Maintain a clean and organised FOH area, including tables, floors, counters, and customer seating spaces.
- Support efficient table turnover during busy periods.
- Assist with packaging takeaway orders when required.
- Follow opening, service, and closing procedures as directed by management.

**Teamwork & Communication**
- Work collaboratively with both FOH and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Communicate clearly during busy periods regarding orders, wait times, and customer needs.
- Maintain a positive, respectful, and professional attitude with colleagues and guests.

**Cash Handling & POS**
- Accurately process payments, handle cash, and operate the till and card machines responsibly.
- Maintain accuracy with receipts, refunds, and end-of-day cashing-up when assigned.

**Health, Hygiene & Safety**
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards expected at Dabrunch Café Ltd.
- Ensure the dining area meets sanitation requirements and is safe for staff and guests.
- Adhere to allergen protocols and provide correct information to customers.
- Report hazards, spills, or incidents to management promptly.

**Required Skills & Experience**
- Previous FOH, café, or customer service experience (preferred but not essential).
- Excellent communication and people skills with a friendly, approachable manner.
- Ability to multitask and stay calm during busy times.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hospitality standards.
- Confidence in using POS systems (training provided).

**Working Hours**
- Part-time (minimum 24-34 hours weekly depending on business needs)
- Weekend availability required

**Pay**
