We are looking to hire an Apprentice Administrative Assistant to join our team on a 12 month contract. Upon successful completion of your Apprenticeship you will have gained a Level 2 NVQ in Business Administration.

As the Apprentice Administrative Assistant, you will be aligned with our brand Parasol, the market-leading contractor support specialist.

**Responsibilities**:

- Process requests for references, payslips and statement of earnings with a high degree of accuracy and within agreed SLA.
- To manage the expectations of all employees and agencies through effective communication and ownership.
- To generate ideas for improvements to processes and the overall employee experience.
- To communicate with employees in a professional and compliant manner.
- Sorting and distribution of fruit, milk, juice etc
- Check stock levels of stationery, collate and order as necessary.
- Opening and distributing the daily post ensuring it is scanned and saved in the relevant CRM system.
- Register all new clients for necessary tax schemes and ensure we are authorised on HMRC portal to prevent delays for accountants processing the clients company submissions.
- Upload banking feeds to relevant client portals.
- Handling adhoc queries from accounting teams in a timely manner.
- Filing company documents.
- Returning accounting information to external clients
- Support other teams as necessary with administrative tasks.
- To adapt positively to change and meet the changing requirements of the work environment.
- Actively support department and company initiatives.
- To maintain a strict level of business and employee confidentiality at all times.
- To work well as part of a team, be open-minded towards the ideas and views of others and contribute to building team spirit.
- To maintain a high level of personal drive and the highest standard of accountability and professionalism at all times.

**Skills required**:

- GCSE’s grade C or equivalent in English and Maths is essential.
- Ability to communicate clearly
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- An understanding of and adherence to all confidentiality aspects required
- An understanding and adherence to all relevant health and safety procedures
- Good computer and keyboard skills with experience of using Microsoft Office Applications
