Our client is one of the leaders in their field and they continue to thrive having experienced record growth for the past few years which is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

This **newly created** role will suit someone who is post-qualified and has experience working in technical and tax accounting.

Reporting in to the European Finance Lead, this position will head up the team and ensure that all financial information is produced in time and to a high standard.

Looking after two reports your role will not be limited to statutory accounting providing you with exposure to management reporting too and duties will include
- Reviewing financial statements and monthly reconciliations
- Managing the audit process and preparing accounting and tax reports
- Revenue recognition compliance and controls
- Reviewing VAT, EC returns and corporate tax preparation
- Quarterly budgeting and forecasting including business partnering
- Variance analysis and explanation
- Cashflow and accounts receivable forecasting
- Ad hoc project work

Up to date knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP accounting principles and associated legislation is essential as is a recognised qualification such as ACCA or CIMA.
