The organisation is recognised for its structured approach to financial practices and its commitment to operational excellence.Job DescriptionDevelop and implement financial control frameworks to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.Monitor and assess the organisation's internal controls, identifying areas for improvement.Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.Prepare comprehensive reports on financial controls and present findings to senior management.Support audits by providing necessary documentation and resolving queries promptly.Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with industry regulations.Advise on risk management strategies and their implementation within the business.Provide training and guidance on financial control processes to relevant team members.The Successful ApplicantA successful Financial Controls Manager should have:A strong background in Accounting & Finance, preferably within the Energy & Natural Resources industry.Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.Proficiency in financial control frameworks and regulatory compliance standards.Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.Experience in risk management and internal audit processes.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with stakeholders.Proficiency in financial systems and software.What's on OfferCompetitive salary ranging from £54,000 to £66,000 per annum.Permanent position based in Huntingdon.Opportunity to work within a reputable Energy & Natural Resources company.Benefits package to be confirmed upon offer.Chance to contribute to the development of robust financial controls.If you are a detail-oriented professional seeking to advance your career as a Financial Controls Manager in Huntingdon, apply today to join a respected organisation in the Energy & Natural Resources industry.
