SEN Teaching Assistant - Birmingham
Do you have experience supporting children or young adults with additional needs? Are you passionate about working with special educational needs? This Ofsted “Outstanding” special school is looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join an establishedteam of caring, compassionate and experienced support and teaching staff. This role will involve working on a 1-2-1 and small group basis with children who have a primary diagnosis of Autism.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant at this school you will be supporting the class teacher and providing 1-2-1 support. This school has outstanding facilities and you will have access to a range of resources to help you support the pupils. Staff are friendly and leadershipare supportive, this is a fantastic opportunity for a SEN Teaching Assistant to make a difference. This role requires experience working with special educational needs and a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable.
Role:
- Teaching Assistant at an Ofsted “Outstanding” special school
- Delivering tailored 1-2-1 support for children with a range of complex learning needs
- Working alongside an outstanding team of Teaching Assistants and teachers
- Having an in depth understanding of a range of needs
