Job Summary:
Jackson Hogg are delighted to be working on the appointment of a Credit Controller to join our client based in Blyth.

As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing the credit control process, ensuring timely payment of outstanding invoices, and maintaining positive relationships with clients.

**Duties**:

- Monitor and manage the company's accounts receivable portfolio
- Set credit limits for new and existing customers
- Send out invoices and statements to customers
- Follow up on overdue payments and resolve any payment discrepancies
- Negotiate payment plans with customers as needed
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and payment details
- Collaborate with the sales team to resolve any billing or payment issues
- Provide regular reports on accounts receivable status to management

**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Familiarity with accounts payable processes is a plus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm
Contract length: 1-6 months

Pay: £24,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
