**About the Role**

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Trainee Accounts Payable Assistant to join our Finance department at our Milton Common Head Office.

Your role will be to assist with the processing of purchase invoices and supplier statement reconciliations across a ledger of 3000 suppliers, whilst also assisting with other purchase ledger tasks.

Day to day tasks will include:

- Assisting with the processing of supplier invoices and credit notes within 48 hours of receipt.
- Reconciling supplier statements to the purchase ledger.
- Assist with the management of the joint Purchase inbox.
- John Deere payment allocations and reconciliations.
- Processing and reconciling of staff credit cards and purchasing cards.
- Assist with the processing of staff expenses.
- Assistance in purchase ledger projects.
- Answering incoming telephone calls.
- Maintain a clean working environment.
- Help cover workload over team absences where needed.

**About you**

Previous experience in an Administrative role would be beneficial but this is not essential as we can provide all the training required to the right person.

Key skills required:

- The ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

**Package details**

Basic salary in the region of £21,000 - £24,000 dependent on experience, 20 days holiday increasing by 1 day for each completed year of service up to a maximum of 25 days (plus Bank Holidays), company pension and financial planning service.

**Hours of work**

8am - 5pm Monday to Friday, fully office-based.
