**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Assist in the planning and implementation of educational activities that promote children's development.
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Support the lead nursery staff in managing daily routines and maintaining a clean and organised environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Foster positive relationships with children to encourage their social and emotional development.
- Help manage behaviour in accordance with nursery policies, promoting respect and cooperation among children.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in early childhood education.

**Skills**
- Strong leadership qualities to guide and motivate young learners.
- A drive for excellence in childcare practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, particularly in English.
- Knowledge or experience in early childhood education is highly desirable.
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is advantageous.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm demeanour in a busy environment.
- A genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and development through engaging activities.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From £23,700.00 per year

Expected hours: 18 - 36 per week
