**Nursery Assistant/Nursery Practitioner Level 2&3 - Full Time**

Little Jannah Day Care Nursery is looking for a passionate and experienced Nursery Assistant/Practitioner who is enthusiastic and team player. Little Jannah Day Care Nursery is registered for 22 children per day.

**Requirements**:
Minimum of a relevant and recognised Level 2 or 3 qualification

Evidence of ongoing personal development training

Desire to continue with professional development

Recent Paediatric First Aid certificate **(Not Mandatory)**

Awareness of Health & Safety and practical Hygiene issues

Experience of working in an early year setting

**Main responsibilities**:

- To effectively deliver the EYFS ensuring that the individual needs and interest of children in the setting are met (in conjunction with other team members)
- To keep records of your key children’s development and learning journal and share with parents, carers and other key adults in the child’s life.
- To develop and maintain strong partnerships and communication with parents/carers to facilitate day-to-day caring and early learning needs.
- To be involved in out of working hours activities, e.g. training, monthly staff meetings, summer fayre,etc.
- To be flexible within working practices of the setting, undertaking other responsible duties where needed, such as domestic tasks, preparation of snack or meals, cleansing of equipment, etc.
- To support nursery assistants, students and volunteers.

The nursery is open Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm - 50 weeks per year.
