**We are currently looking for Packaging Section Leader.**

To ensure the maintain a clean and tidy working environment ensuring health and safety standards are maintained and improved. Ensure stock flow is managed proactively to and from the stores area correctly, ensuring the flow from packaging and production is managed proactively. To work in collaboration and cross functionally across all Operations through the Supply Chain and departments.

Shift pattern: Work **only 7 days in 14 with** our 4 on, 3 off, 3 on, 4 off shift working pattern:
**What your day will look like**:

- Ensuring Health and safety is followed and adhered to.
- Use the Papaya system to record all accident and incidents, as well as all health and safety behaviour conversations.
- Promote and uphold the clean as you go policy.
- Manual handling technique to be followed.
- Planning and deployment of the day-to-day staffing levels.
- Absent management and controls including return to works.
- Performance management of the team against set KPI’s.
- Management of the day to day picking process to ensure stock is supplied to the lines in a timely manner.
- Ensure line down time is always minimised to ensure costs are kept to a minimum.
- Daily free space checks to be conducted and findings to be analysed and feedback given where required.
- Accurate scanning of stock to and from the warehouse.
- Conducting/managing stock counts and investigations where needed.
- Manage the teams to ensure we have cover during the day including break times.
- Support the management of the INV process to ensure maximum stock availability.
- Liaise with planning and packaging buying team for stock issues to minimise line downtime.
- Over see any other transfer of stock requests between sites.
- MHE control and compliance ensuring that the fleet is correctly operated and report any faults/defects via the correct process.
- Ensure all MHE is clean and free from stickers and rubbish.
- Ensure all packaging is cleared from the lines daily.
- Weekly add on stock counts.
- Plan and deliver stock counts for remaining packaging store to ensure the whole area I counted once per every four weeks.
- Carry out investigations as required.
- Support the business with the delivery of all peak periods.
- Support with the weekly equipment counts to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Review process with a view to improve.
- The above list covers the main areas of responsibility but is not exhaustive and a flexible approach is required.
- Carry out 1-2-1 and yearly appraisal for the team.

- Good standard of education, specifically in English and Maths.
- A keen eye for detail.

- Demonstrate eagerness in personal development.
- Have warehouse stock management experience/knowledge.
