Are you looking for an opportunity where you can have a real impact on patients, their loved ones and your colleagues?
Our chaplaincy team is seeking a Hospital Chaplain to join them in Norfolk, to help grow and shape the pastoral, spiritual and religious service we provide across Norfolk and Suffolk.
You’ll be joining a small, collaborative team and will be supported with clergy supervision by Cambridge and Peterborough NHS Trust.
This is a part time opportunity, however we can be flexible around the working days. You’ll be covering the county of Norfolk so must be able to travel between different locations.
It is integral that you are open minded and prepared to work with patients, their relatives and friends, and staff and students; whatever their cultural and faith tradition, for the purpose of pastoral, spiritual and religious care.
Although there will be a lot of independent working, there will also be an expectation to support with the development of volunteers into the chaplaincy team; something we are very passionate about.
If you’re suitably qualified and seeking an opportunity to work alongside inspiring, compassionate individuals - we’d love to hear from you
**As chaplain, you will**:
Help develop, maintain and provide a comprehensive Spiritual & Pastoral Care service in Norfolk and Suffolk.
You will help develop and promote a multi-disciplinary approach to care which recognises the importance of spirituality in mental health care
You will develop and maintain a resource for Faith Group leaders and workers in providing for the care of their faith group members who are Trust service users, carers or staff.

You will help manage appropriate resources for the spiritual, religious and pastoral care of service users, carers and staff, including the provision of sacred spaces for worship and personal reflection.
Here at NSFT we pride ourselves on being a welcoming, talented, friendly and supportive team who like nothing better than sharing experiences and learning from each other. In addition to ongoing training and development opportunities, we are committed to providing an environment in which you can thrive.
