**Are you an experienced Transport Planner who is looking for you next challenge? Have you worked in an FMCG environment or similar? Your next employer has a great opportunity for you in Oldham working for a large Food and Wholesale distributer. Thisis an immediately available opportunity where you will earn a salary of up to GBP35,000. The role is full time working 5 days a week from Sunday to Friday on a rotary basis.**
**What will you be doing as a Transport Planner?**
- Liaising with drivers to effectively plan delivery routes
- Completing routes changes and amendments to schedules
- Analysing and investigating route performance daily to identify areas for improvement
- Liaising with drivers on changes and planning ahead
- Working towards company targets and within guidelines
**We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience**:
- Previous experience as a Transport Planner, Route Planner or similar
- If you have worked in an FMCG environment previously, that would be a benefit
- Previous experience with Paragon Routing & Scheduling would be beneficial
- Very confident with Microsoft Excel (Intermediate to Advanced level)
- You will be heavily organised
- An excellent communicator
- Can work to a very fast pace
- Able to adapt all the time to changing situations and circumstances
