RJ Utility Services are a Utilities contractor delivering a wide range of civils and engineering services across the North East of England. We are looking for an experienced Planner / Streetworks coordinator to join our team.

TYou will be responsible for planning and co-ordinating the work allocation to utilities gangs as well as liaising with local authorities around permits for work.

You will ensure all work is delivered to the required contract's program and that all contractual SLA's are achieved. It will be necessary to ensure planning is undertaken efficiently, utilising the full workforce and that all client and customers' expectations are met by delivering the highest level of service.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Have a proven track record of planning work on utilities excavation works
- Be responsible for planning a range of utility excavations on the Openreach network on small to medium size works
- Work well under pressure, ensuring jobs are planned in completely, accurately and within timescales.
- Helping to generate and track the weekly work plan.
- Leading/facilitating coordination inline with clients monthly THP targets.
- Identifying key risks and areas of programme slippage.

**Skills and Experience**:

- A minimum of 1 years programming experience in underground utility engineering (preferred).
- Experience of planning a range of job types.
- Knowledge of permitting policies and NRASWA
- Good IT skills with a strong attention to detail.
- The ability to multi-task.
- The ability to meet demanding deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

- Blaydon-On-Tyne: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
