**Job title**:
Cleaning Operative (Part Time)

**Job Purpose**:
The purpose of this job is to deliver a range of cleaning services at various locations. To ensure that all work undertaken is completed to a high standard in a courteous and professional manner. To offer support and back up services to other cleaners and staff at various locations.

**Hours of Work**:
16 hours per week between Monday to Friday. Please note hours could vary according to work requirements.

**Salary**:
£15 per hour.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- General cleaning (to a specification and method statement) of commercial, educational and domestic premises.
- Specialist cleaning (to a specification and method statement, following appropriate training) of various premises, furnishings and environments.
- Hording clearances and deep cleaning of homes and environments (to a specification and method statement).
- Mobile support to other cleaning staff.
- Covering cleaning jobs due to staff sickness or absence.
- Preparation and maintenance of cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Pick up and drop off of cleaning equipment, supplies and materials.
- Management of keys and stores.

**Person Specification**:
**Qualifications & training**:
GCSE (or equivalent) maths and English qualifications. - **Desirable.**

Full clean driving license - **Essential.**

**Previous experience**:
Previous work experience as a cleaner in commercial or domestic environments. - **Desirable.**

Experience of dealing with customers - **Desirable.**

Experience of dealing with customers facing embarrassing and or sensitive situations. - **Desirable.**
