**Salary**: £42K - 46K, Company vehicle / allowance

**About the Role**

Our client is a large Facilities Management company seeking an experienced and proactive Building Surveyor to join their team.

This role is essential in ensuring the effective management, maintenance, and safety of various public sector buildings across Lincolnshire.

**Key Responsibilities**
As a Building Surveyor your duties will include, but are not limited to:

- **Condition Surveys**: Conduct quinquennial and annual surveys of primary schools and public sector buildings, including libraries, museums, highways depots, youth centers, and offices
- **Repairs & Maintenance**: Oversee minor works focused on repairs and maintenance, from initial surveys through to specification writing, tender documentation, contractor management, and basic contract administration
- **Cost Control & Design**: Review and manage cost control and design changes during minor works projects
- **Health & Safety**: Inspect sites and report on Health & Safety matters
- **CAFM System**: Regularly update and respond through the Computer-Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) system, providing technical advice as needed
- **Client & Stakeholder Relations**: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, site personnel, stakeholders, and contractors
- **Asset Tagging & Compliance**: Assist with the Asset Tagging programme and undertake compliance inspections of sites
- **Temporary Works Inspection**: Inspect minor temporary works such as scaffolding and fencing
- **Planned & Preventative Maintenance**: Conduct various inspections, including those of void properties, and report any concerns
- **Ad Hoc Responsibilities**: Address any other property-related queries or instructions from the client as they arise
