Location: Lincolnshire (ideal candidate located in the South of the county)Creating and maintaining great places to live and work delivered by excellent people who care…We are seeking an organised, proactive, and experienced Building Surveyor to support our long-term maintenance & repair contract with Lincolnshire County Council.This role plays a key part in maintaining and improving a diverse portfolio of public sector buildings across the county, including primary schools, libraries, museums, youth centres, offices, and operational sites. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates based in – or able to easily cover – South Lincolnshire, though applicants from across the county and bordering regions (Peterborough, Nottinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire, Rutland, Norfolk, Leicestershire, North Lincolnshire) are welcomed. We are committed to professional development and can fully support the right individual through to Chartership.Key Responsibilities:Condition surveys and compliance inspectionsManaging minor repairs and maintenance worksPreparing scopes, specifications, and tender documentsContractor management and basic Contract AdministrationCost control, H&S reporting, and updating the CAFM systemProviding technical advice and supporting asset taggingLiaising with client teams, sites, and stakeholdersWhat We’re Looking ForExperience in building surveying, minor works management, or property maintenance within public sector or similar environments.Strong technical knowledge with the ability to inspect, report, and manage small-scale works independently.Strong IT capabilities – Microsoft Office & CAFM systemsConfident communicator able to represent VINCI professionally with clients and contractors.A self-starter with strong organisational skills and good attention to detail.Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Lincolnshire.In return for your hard work we offer additional training and development, 26 days holiday (+ bank holidays), generous pension contribution, life assurance and much more.We are VINCI Facilities – experts in the built environment.
