**Senior Family Support Worker (Women’s Safety Officer)**

This role sits in Reach Out, Redbridge Council’s internal domestic abuse service. Reach Out is an ambitious service, with a passion for improving the safety, wellbeing and freedom of victims/survivors and their children. We believe every survivor’s story and recognise that each individual is an expert in their own experiences. We adapt our service based on the needs of the individual, and support survivors to overcome any obstacles or barriers.

Reach Out has a Respect-accredited intervention for those who want to change their abusive behaviours, the Spotlight Programme. We are looking for a Senior Family Support Worker (Women’s Safety Officer) who will maintain regular contact with the partners/ ex-partners of those who are on the programme. They will explore any support that can be offered to the victim/ survivor, while also making sure that the intervention with the perpetrator is having a positive impact on the victim/survivor’s safety, well-being, and freedom.
