Senior IT Project

Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity as a Senior IT Projects and Service Manager?

As a Senior IT Projects and Services Manager, no one day will be the same as you get stuck in with the planning, management, service delivery, and execution of IT systems projects including new client implementations, customer change requests, and strategicprojects to improve business systems and processes to support the service delivery of existing contracts.

**Key responsibilities**
- Manage a programme of internal & customer related projects and changes, co-ordinating resources and working with key stakeholders on prioritisation, capacity planning and scheduling
- Manage projects from initiation through delivery, managing scope, risk, and ensuring completion of the project objectives to agreed timescales, budget constraints and quality standards.
- Ensure that projects are delivered on time, to budget, and to the required quality specifications including managing the project's scope and preventing scope creep unless agreed
- Produce business cases, project management plans and other project documentation keeping them updated with actual progress
- Manage and deliver the required changes for each project and for each phase within a project, ensuring that these meet any aims, objectives, or critical success factors agreed in the project plan
- Monitor, evaluate, and report the progress of projects to appropriate stakeholders
- Conduct scoping sessions with customers and users to gather requirements and produce change management documentation
- Manage all levels of testing, including unit/system and user acceptance, both internally and with third parties
- Communicate directly with a small number of key customer accounts supporting regular meetings and updates regarding project progress, scheduling, issues & challenges.

**Essential Skills**
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a commercial software development environment
- Experience of working in a Project Management role
- Experience in delivering IT projects & services within sectors such as e-Commerce, Fulfilment, Logistics or Distribution.
- Formal project management certifications with experience
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, change requests and co-ordinating team projects
- Background in business analysis, system design, consultancy, configuration, and testing
- Experience of software development methodologies and industry best practice
- Experience of providing support and training for other team members

**Desirable Skills**
- Knowledge and experience of contact centre environments and/or contact management platforms
- Experience in a multi-client or service provider environment
- Experience of working in a Business Analyst role
- ERP or WMS systems implementation & change management experience
- Software development experience in a commercial environment
- Software development experience with technologies Debian, MySQL, PHP, Apache, Java, Docker, React.
- Experience of information security compliance projects such as PCI-DSS or ISO 27001
