At Hawk Furniture we have been crafting British-made office furniture since 1988. We are a true UK designer and manufacturer of sustainable office furniture, and we have thousands of products ranging from entry level desking to design-led statement peices.

**Rate of pay**: £15.00 an hour.

**Job Type**: Permanent, Full Time.

**Working Hours**: Mon-Thu 07:30-16:30 Fri 07:30-13:30.

**Overtime as needed.**

**Responsibilities**:
1. **Machine Setup and Programming**:

- Prepare and set up CNC machines for wood processing according to design specifications.
- Program CNC machines using appropriate software to ensure accurate and efficient production.

2. **Operational Duties**:

- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and adherence to design standards.
- Adjust machine settings to optimize production and maintain high-quality output.
- Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.

3. **Material Handling**:

- Select and load raw materials onto CNC machines, ensuring proper alignment and adherence to Quality standards.
- Manage inventory of materials, notifying the supervisor when supplies need replenishing.

4. **Quality Control**:

- Conduct routine quality checks and inspections to identify and address any defects or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the quality control team to implement improvements and ensure product excellence.

5. **Maintenance and Troubleshooting**:

- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during production.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to assist in fault diagnosis.

6. **Safety and Compliance**:

- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and standards.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £15.30 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
