**Early Years Practitioner - Newchurch Pre-School (Culcheth)**

Working Hours

Hours are between 7.30am - 5.30pm four days per week 40 hours a week

Are you passionate about early years education and looking to join a friendly, high-quality setting that puts children at the heart of everything? We’re looking for a dedicated **Early Years Practitioner** to join our team at **Newchurch Pre-School**.

About the Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will work as a key person within our team, helping to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment. You'll support children’s development through play-based learning, build positive relationships with families, and contribute to high standards of care and education.

Responsibilities include:

- Supporting planning and delivery of the EYFS curriculum
- Acting as a key person, observing and assessing children’s development
- Building strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Promoting safeguarding, health & safety, and equal opportunities
- Supporting daily routines including mealtimes and care needs
- Maintaining accurate records using our nursery system
- Participating in training and development opportunities

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

- Qualified to at least **Level 2** in Early Years (Level 3 preferred or willing to train)
- Experienced in working with children aged 0-5
- Knowledgeable about child development and the EYFS
- Committed to safeguarding and inclusive practice
- A team player with excellent communication skills
- Friendly, flexible, and passionate about working with children

Desirable:

- Level 3 or above in Early Years
- Current Paediatric First Aid Certificate

Pay: £10.00-£13.00 per hour
