**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic kitchen team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality meals and ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly. You will be involved in various aspects of food preparation, cooking, and serving, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our customers.
**Responsibilities**
- Assist in the preparation of meals according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high quality
- Follow food safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times
- Support the catering team with meal preparation for events and special occasions
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods
- Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and assist with ordering as needed
- Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge
**Skills**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is highly desirable
- Strong cooking skills with a passion for food preparation and presentation
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration
- Basic culinary skills, including knife skills and cooking techniques
- Experience in serving food and interacting with customers is an advantage
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
