We're looking for a talented Applications Engineer to work for our client.
They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of special purpose machinery for manufacturing.

**The Role**:
Reporting to the Technical Manager and based in the company's Oxfordshire office, as the Applications Engineer you will be primarily responsible for solving problems for customers who want a non standard solution.
In the job you'll be tasked with understanding and defining customer requirement and working with internal and external partners to provide a solution.
In addition, you'll need a recognized engineering qualification and experience in factory automation.
The ideal person for the role will be the following:

- Professional at all times - especially when dealing with customer issues
- A proven engineer as you will work independently from day 1
- Aware of machinery standards

**The Package**:

- Basic salary: _£30,000 - £35,000 per annum
