The client is an international company fast paced and growing, specialising in manufacturing and distributing luxury fragrances and cosmetics. Their portfolio includes Tommy Hilfiger, Florence By Mills, Chopard Parfums, Elie Saab Parfums, Philipp Plein Parfums,Iceberg Parfums, and more. The client is based in West End London.

**Description**

Management Accountant (German Speaking) - duties:

- Month end / Year end
- Oversight of the general ledger / German and UK GAAP.
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and journals
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Month-end reporting package and budget processes
- Assist with Audit requests
- Taxes
- Experience of German VAT and EU VAT
- Tax compliance
- Coordination with our tax experts in our countries of operation
- Inventory and production, in collaboration with the cost controller
- Inventory reconciliation
- COGS analysis
- Gross Margin analysis by customer
- weekly cash flow reports
- Review and Submission of payments run
- Review of A/P invoices booked in the system
- Fixed asset management
- Other ad hoc duties

**Profile**

Management Accountant (German Speaking) - will possess:

- Part qualified with experience, strong management, and financial accounting knowledge
- Attention to details.
- Experience and flexibility to work with time zone difference (UK/USA/Europe)
- Highly proficient at accounts preparation and financial analysis to get things right first time with attention to detail
- German Speaking and Experienced in dealing with tax and VAT queries.
- Confident IT user - Strong Excel skills
- Experience in a SME and international business
- Experience with Microsoft Business Central Dynamics
- Multitasking and open to additional responsibilities
- Pro activity and problem-solving attitude
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative and exercise judgement
- Respect of strict deadlines and processes
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.

**Job Offer**
