Based in Central London - hybrid working available.

**Client Details**

This German Speaking Accountant, will sit within a large team working within the sports technology sector based in central London.

They are the fastest growing sports technology in the UK.

**Description**

The key responsibilities for this German speaking Accountant are:

- Supporting the Accounting manager with preparation of the P&L and Balance sheet including variance analysis & commentary for presentation to the Management
- Monthly Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts including accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, payroll control account, cash accounts
- Assisting in equipment & real estate lease accounting
- Managing the fixed asset register including all relevant accounting
- GL postings for Payroll expenses based on the monthly file provided by ADP
- Payroll & Headcount analytic
- Testing of SAP test cases to support the business in the transition from Netsuite to SAP
- Assisting in Audit and Statutory reporting
- Supporting the AP team with coding
- Training of new hires
- Managing an AP Coordinator - Germany
- Building links with the business to understand changes that might impact accounting and ensuring these are accounted for
- Ad-hoc accountancy tasks

**Profile**
- University degree preferably in finance/ accounting or/ and an accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, Bilanzbuchhalter) or working towards it
- Fluent German
- 3-5 years of experience in finance
- Good communication skills and enjoying working in a team
- Eye for detail with an analytic mind
