MMP Consultancy are currently recruiting for a Neighbourhood Services Manager on a temporary basis, based in West Sussex.
The Neighbourhood Services Manager will lead a customer focused team, in the provision of services to tenants and leaseholders in relation to income maximisations, service charges and recharges, neighbourhood and housing management functions including anti-socialbehaviour, tenancy enforcement, tenancy sustainment, financial inclusion, lettings, shared ownership and leasehold services. The Neighbourhood Services Manager will also provide effective leadership, guidance and support to deliver change and service modernisation.As well as work to promote the involvement of residents in all aspects of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

- Lead, manage and provide support and guidance to the Neighbourhoods Team to ensure the effective and efficient management of all Neighbourhood Services
- Take responsibility for ensuring service charge are managed within legislation, with a focus on affordability whilst achieving a full cost recovery model. Manage the service charge process including, budget setting, coding, approval consultation and generalservice monitoring process
- Monitor, review and report progress to the Director of Services and Group Head of Residential Services on the performance and cost effectiveness of this service area, analysing relevant data to identify performance against targets and key performance indicators,escalating findings and recommendations and ensuring appropriate actions are implemented to address under performance
- Contributing to the annual budget setting and monthly monitoring and review of relevant budgets, ensuring income and expenditure is robustly managed in line with financial controls
- Responsible for managing and coordinating the Residential Services Neighbourhood Services Team including the delivery of the clients objectives and service standards, setting and reviewing both team and individual standards of performance and work targets/outcomes
- Responsible for creating a performance orientated culture, recruiting, managing and motivating all staff ensuring that appropriate work plans, appraisals are in place and delivered. Providing guidance, support training and development where required to achieveexcellent levels of customer service delivery
- Responsible for the timely and accurate annual review of rents, rents setting and service charges, recharges and garage rents for tenants and leaseholders, ensuring a clear audit trail and the provision of clear information to customers
