**Guest Relations Ambassador**

We are currently recruiting a full-time Guest Relations Ambassador to expand the Front Office Team, offering a personalised service to our guests.

**About the Role**:
You will be the face of the guest relations team, welcoming all guest to Market Street hotel ensuring guest expectations are delivered and exceeded at all times.

You’ll have impeccable personal presentation standards, be team orientated, and have excellent communication skills as you’ll be working closely with other departments in the hotel.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- You will welcome all guests and give them a unique check-in and check-out experience
- Develop high quality relationships with guests, from the moment they arrive and throughout their stay.
- Being a true local hero, providing concierge information about Edinburgh and beyond
- Be the first point for any guest concerns where you will be empowered to try to resolve them or seek guidance
- Be completely knowledgeable of room types, sales types, guest types, VIP codes and room rates
- Ensure that guest documentation and information is available and up-to-date
- Ensure that information is passed on to other departments as necessary and to the other members of the department

**Role Requirements**:

- At least one year of experience, preferably in a similar role, working in a 4 or 5 star hotel environment is essential for this position
- Experience using Opera PMS is preferred but not essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Must have a valid right to work in the United Kingdom
- Flexibility is a must as you will be required to cover shifts over the weekends and night shift

Pay: From £12.47 per hour
