Senior care assistant required for a small care home in Nelson.

Main duties.

The safe administration of medication to vulnerable adults.The ability to understand the process of ordering medication receiving medication and being able to book medication in.

Work along side health professional, contact GP when needed and be able to work under pressure and deal with emergencies as they arise.

You will also be able to demonstrate how to lead and manage a team of care assistants and delegate duties, cover rotas in the absence of the manager and be a first point of contact.

A good level of English and written skills is mandatory as you will be expected to work electronic systems in the care home.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £12.31-£12.61 per hour

**Experience**:

- providing care: 1 year (preferred)
- supervisory: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (preferred)
